IV Cannulation
IV cannulation is the insertion of a small plastic catheter into a peripheral vein to provide direct access to the bloodstream for administering fluids, medications, blood products, and obtaining blood samples.

IV Fluids Administration
IV fluid administration is the delivery of fluids directly into a vein through an intravenous cannula to maintain or restore fluid and electrolyte balance, hydration, and circulatory volume.

RT INSERTION
Ryle’s tube insertion is the placement of a flexible tube through the nose into the stomach for feeding, medication administration, gastric decompression, or aspiration of stomach contents.

INSULIN ADMINISTRATION

ENEMA & SUPPOSITORY
An enema is the introduction of fluid into the rectum and colon through the anus to stimulate bowel evacuation, relieve constipation, or prepare the bowel for diagnostic and surgical procedures.

URINARY CATHETER INSERTION
Urinary catheterization is the insertion of a sterile tube (catheter) through the urethra into the urinary bladder to drain urine, monitor urine output, or relieve urinary retention.

Calcium IV nutritional therapy is the intravenous administration of calcium to treat or prevent calcium deficiency and maintain normal muscle, nerve, and cardiac function, especially when oral supplementation is not possible.

TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) is the intravenous administration of a complete nutritional solution containing carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, and trace elements through a central venous catheter to meet the nutritional needs of patients who cannot use the gastrointestinal tract.

Multivitamin IV nutritional therapy is the intravenous administration of essential vitamins to prevent or treat vitamin deficiencies and support normal body functions in patients who cannot meet their nutritional needs orally or enterally.
